I belong to the Iowa City chapter of Well-Read Mom, a book club which has brought me many wonderful friendships and which continually challenges me to grow both as a reader and as a human being.  

 

We don't choose our own books in Well-Read Mom, and that's one of the things I love most about it.  It's such a fun surprise every summer to learn what the next year's theme will be and to receive the book list.
